
Digital Marketing Manager

Overview
FMI is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of our digital marketing efforts. This role is responsible for driving measurable business impact through data‑informed campaigns, strong alignment with business development teams, and effective use of digital channels. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands‑on, with the ability to translate performance insights into action, optimize campaigns in real time, and partner closely with internal stakeholders to support lead generation and client acquisition. This individual will play a critical role in strengthening FMI’s digital presence, enhancing thought leadership reach, and contributing to pipeline growth. The role is preferably based in our Denver, Colorado office; however, remote arrangements may be considered for highly qualified candidates.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a data‑informed digital marketing strategy aligned with FMI’s growth objectives
Lead integrated, cross‑channel campaigns across paid media, social, email, and web, translating FMI’s brand and thought leadership into compelling digital experiences that engage target audiences
Continuously refine strategy, messaging, and channel mix based on performance insights and market trends
Plan, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, and industry publications
Own campaign performance across the funnel, with a focus on conversion, cost efficiency, and pipeline contribution
Apply structured testing such as A/B testing, audience segmentation, and creative optimization to improve results over time
Partner closely with business development and lead generation teams to align marketing efforts with pipeline and revenue goals
Design and execute targeted nurture campaigns that move prospects through the buyer journey
Support lead management processes, ensuring timely and effective handoff of qualified leads; optimize segmentation, lead scoring, and lifecycle workflows to improve conversion rates
Manage and optimize FMI’s marketing automation platform, HubSpot, to support campaign execution and nurture programs
Ensure strong alignment and integration between marketing automation and CRM, Salesforce systems for accurate tracking and attribution
Maintain audience personas and segmentation strategies grounded in performance data
Leverage dashboards and reporting tools to monitor campaign and channel performance
Translate data into clear, actionable insights that inform strategy, targeting, and content decisions
Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities across the funnel and recommend improvements; foster a culture of data‑informed decision making across marketing and business development teams
Lead FMI’s social media strategy with a focus on amplifying thought leadership and supporting lead generation and business development activities; enable consultants and bankers to effectively use platforms like LinkedIn to build visibility and relationships
Manage content distribution tools such as Gaggle to ensure consistent, on‑brand engagement
Track engagement and refine strategies to increase reach and impact
Act as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders, helping them leverage digital marketing to support client development
Collaborate across marketing, lead generation, and leadership to align on priorities and outcomes
Stay current on digital trends, AI tools, and best practices to continuously improve FMI’s marketing effectiveness
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
5+ years of experience in digital marketing, demand generation, or performance marketing, preferably in a B2B or professional services environment
Proven experience developing and executing multi‑channel campaigns across paid media, email, social, and web
Strong proficiency in digital marketing platforms, including Google Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems (HubSpot and Salesforce preferred)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaign performance
Experience with A/B testing, audience segmentation, and conversion optimization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross‑functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in professional services, consulting, or other complex B2B industries
Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., dashboards, analytics platforms)
Familiarity with content distribution tools and social media management platforms
Experience supporting lead generation strategies and working closely with business development teams
Knowledge of digital marketing trends, tools, and emerging technologies, including AI applications
Base salary range is $90k–$95k plus annual bonus.
