Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail‑oriented HR professional to lead our benefits administration, oversee HR compliance, and serve as the internal subject matter expert for ADP. This role plays a pivotal part in safeguarding operational excellence, reducing organizational risk, and ensuring employees receive a seamless, high‑quality HR experience.
Location KMS, Eco‑Tec, or Relco. Onsite, Hybrid or Fully Remote.
Employment Details Status: Full Time. Reports To: HR Director of Americas. FLSA Status: Exempt. Management Position: Yes. Compensation Min: $80,000 annually. Compensation Max: $125,000 annually.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end benefits programs including health, welfare, retirement, and leave of absence
Partner with local HRBPs regarding employees’ benefits questions, eligibility, and enrollment events.
Facilitate annual open enrollment with local HR, including planning, communication, and execution
Partner with brokers and vendors to evaluate plan performance, cost, and competitiveness
Resolve complex employee benefit issues with a high level of service and responsiveness
Complete monthly self‑bill invoices to be processed for payment and audit benefit invoices and payroll deductions for accuracy
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, ACA, COBRA, ERISA, Wage Reporting, etc.)
Assist with compliance reporting, including ACA filings, EEO‑1, and other required submissions.
Maintain and update policies, procedures, and required reporting
Support both internal and external audits and ensure documentation is accurate and audit‑ready at all times; help implement corrective actions when needed.
Monitor regulatory changes and proactively recommend updates to HR policies and procedures.
HR Systems
Ability to serve as a secondary administrator and expert for the various HR systems.
Manage system configuration, data integrity, reporting, and process optimization
Partner with payroll and finance to ensure accuracy and alignment
Support lead system enhancements, implementations, workflow improvements, and troubleshooting
Process Improvement & Operations
Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and scalability
Develop and maintain SOPs for benefits, compliance, and HRIS processes
Provide reporting and analytics to support leadership decision‑making
Employee Support
Act as a trusted resource for employees on benefits, policies, and HR processes
Deliver clear, concise communication and training on HR programs
Drive innovation and transformation in HR functions and processes, leveraging data insights to lead to profitable action.
Handle confidential matters with tact, professionalism, and discretion.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field or 5+ years of HR experience with a strong focus on benefits and compliance in lieu of degree.
Deep knowledge in ADP (Workforce Now strongly preferred)
US Benefits knowledge is required
Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR compliance requirements
Experience managing vendors, audits, and multi‑state compliance
High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Ability to operate independently in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
Works well under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Some travel may be required
What Will Put You Ahead
Familiarity with other ADP platforms (Celergo, WFMgr)
Bilingual (Fluent in another language addition to English)
ADP payroll experience
Able to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution
SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR or SPHR certification
Experience in a private equity‑backed or high‑growth environment
Proven track record of improving HR processes and systems
Physical Requirements
The ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for prolonged periods, often 50–75% of the time, due to computer work and office‑based duties.
Extensive repetitive motion for typing, data entry, using a mouse, and navigating HR Information Systems (HRIS).
The ability to communicate clearly in person, over the phone, and via video conferencing to exchange information with employees and management.
Occasional lifting or moving of files, HR office supplies, or small boxes (typically up to 10–25 lbs.).
Compensation is dependent upon local market, geographic and site location.
