About Kootenai Care Network KCN is a
Clinically Integrated Network
bringing together providers, hospitals, and payers to improve outcomes, enhance coordination, and deliver cost‑effective care. Members maintain independence while collaborating through shared data, clinical protocols, and performance improvement—enabling successful value‑based contracting with payers and employers.
About the Role As Executive Director, you will lead the vision, strategy, and daily operations of KCN. Partnering closely with Kootenai Health executives and physician leadership, you’ll drive network growth, strengthen provider relationships, and ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective care across the region. This role reports to the KCN Board and Kootenai Health’s CFO.
Key Responsibilities Grow and strengthen the provider network in alignment with organizational goals Lead internal and external stakeholder engagement Guide transformation efforts across physicians, PHOs, payors, and regional partners Oversee provider recruitment, onboarding, and relationship management Drive clinical outcomes, patient experience, and cost‑effectiveness Manage program metrics, performance targets, data strategy, and incentive design Support governance through effective board preparation and communication
What You Bring Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or related field 7+ years of senior healthcare operations leadership Experience in managed care, large physician groups, or integrated delivery systems Strong understanding of healthcare policy, population health analytics, and HIT needs Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and consensus‑building skills
