Position Summary We’re seeking a full-time Digital Designer (official title: Graphic Designer I) for our Los Angeles-based corporate office. Our SHEGLAM creative team is seeking a candidate who is passionate about beauty, experienced in the e-commerce space, and skilled at creating compelling designs that connect with global audiences. As a Graphic Designer, you will conceptualize and execute visual content across multiple platforms while ensuring consistency with SHEGLAM’s brand identity and creative vision. This role requires creativity, collaboration, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities Conceptualize and create design assets for digital graphics, print materials, paid ads, organic social media visuals, website landing pages, email, SMS, presentations, etc
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver on-brand creative solutions
Ensure consistency in visual identity and messaging across all projects, with accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines
Organize and maintain design files and assets to ensure accessibility and version control
Create, edit, and resize videos for social, ads and offline displays
Assist on-site during photo and video shoots to support creative direction and ensure brand consistency
Track beauty and fashion trends, good graphic design, popular TikTok videos, and successful marketing campaigns; report findings to guide creative strategy
Review website design, brand visual guidance, and other design work, incorporating feedback from peers and stakeholders
Visit local brick-and-mortar beauty stores to stay updated on new product packages and shelf designs
Contribute to product packaging design and concepting, including 2D and 3D renderings
Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Portfolio showcasing creative, diverse design work across multiple mediums (e.g., digital, packaging renderings, posters)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Google Workspace, and other relevant design tools
Experience with project management software (Asana, Wrike, Jira, etc.)
Strong creative thinking and ability to develop innovative design concepts
Solid grasp of typography, layout, color theory, and composition
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly present and articulate design ideas
Positive, team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines
Experience with motion graphics or video editing software (After Effects, Premiere Pro) and familiarity with UX/UI design principles is preferred
Familiarity with 3D rendering tools for packaging visualization is preferred
