
National Account Manager - Walmart

About The Role
The National Account Manager – Walmart will own one of Hamilton Beach Brands’ most strategic customers and be responsible for driving long‑term, profitable growth across core categories including kitchen electrics, beverage, cooking, garment care, home environment, and emerging innovation platforms. This role combines strategic customer leadership with operational excellence, requiring deep understanding of Walmart’s business model, systems, and merchandising strategies.
This is a hybrid position based in Bentonville, AR, and will report to the Director, Sales – Walmart.
What You’ll Do
Lead Walmart account strategy, annual planning, and category growth initiatives
Manage the Walmart P&L, including forecasting, pricing, trade spend, and profitability
Build strong relationships with Walmart merchants, replenishment, and cross‑functional partners
Manage assortment, cost negotiations, modular planning, promotions, and digital execution
Ensure flawless item setup, Item 360 accuracy, content management, and Walmart.com performance
Partner with Supply Chain to improve in‑stock, OTIF, inventory health, and chargeback reduction
Utilize Walmart Luminate, Retail Link, and insights tools to drive fact‑based selling
Collaborate and influence Marketing and Product Management on customer‑specific innovation and packaging
Monitor competitive activity and category trends to identify whitespace opportunities
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus
At least 8 years of account management experience, preferably in the small appliance or durable goods industry
Strong understanding of Walmart systems (Retail Link, Scintilla, Supplier One)
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proven success managing complex assortments and retail financials
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
Data‑driven with strong analytical and forecasting abilities
