Overview
We are seeking a driven and strategic
Area Corporate Sales Manager
to lead corporate group and event sales across a growing
portfolio of hotels in The Villages, Florida . This role is responsible for proactively developing and managing a robust portfolio of corporate clients, driving group room nights, meetings, and banquet revenue across multiple properties. Starting salary for this role is $65,000.00/plus bonus potential to include a generous benefits package. This individual will operate with a high level of ownership and autonomy, focusing on identifying new business opportunities, strengthening existing relationships, and aligning client needs with the unique offerings of each hotel within the portfolio. Current portfolio: Brownwood Hotel & Spa, The Waterfront Inn, newly opened Hotel Eastport, and a fourth hotel in the pipeline.

Area Corporate Sales Manager
is responsible for meeting and exceeding budgeted revenue goals by developing business leads, potential clients, and servicing existing clients while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers. Key Responsibilities: Proactively identify, solicit, and secure new corporate group and event business across multiple hotel properties. Develop and manage a portfolio of key corporate accounts, ensuring consistent engagement and long-term revenue growth. Analyze market trends, demand patterns, competitor activity, and customer insights to uncover new opportunities that drive revenue growth across the entire portfolio. Conduct outside sales calls, site visits, and client presentations to position the portfolio as a preferred meetings and events destination. Partner closely with property sales, revenue management, and operations teams to ensure alignment on strategy and seamless execution of group business. Demonstrates strong business and financial acumen when evaluating and proposing opportunities, ensuring alignment with revenue goals, profitability, and overall portfolio strategy. Maintain accurate account details, activity, and pipeline management within CRM system. Represent the portfolio at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions. Collaborate with property leadership to ensure alignment with hotel standards and best practices. Represent the hotels and the company with the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to exceptional service in all client, partner, and community interactions. Perform other duties and projects as assigned to support overall business success.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of two (2) years sales experience in a Hotel/Resort environment required. College Degree Preferred High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and/or 2-3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Brand experience and full service/luxury hotel experience highly preferred. Familiarity with StayNTouch, and/or Tripleseat is preferred but not required. Familiarity with the Central Florida market, specifically The Villages and surrounding areas. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures. Applicant must have strong working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office software including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as excellent written and oral communications skills. Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Must remain professional, responsive, and cooperative at all times and consistently produce quality work while meeting deadlines. Strong background in corporate business development and account management. Proven ability to analyze data, develop sales strategies, and drive revenue growth. Strong network within the local area and a proactive approach to business development. Ability to travel within market and attend offsite events/tradeshows as needed.
