About the Role
The Company is in search of a Managing Director of Technology to spearhead value creation initiatives within its technology portfolio. The successful candidate will be a key partner to investment professionals and executive leadership teams, leading the charge from the diligence stage through to the successful close and beyond. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction and operational success of the technology investments, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology, with a minimum of eight years' experience, and a proven track record in either strategy consulting or a combination of private equity and operating experience within a technology company.
As the Managing Director of Technology, the primary responsibilities will include leading and executing technology-driven value creation strategies, conducting in-depth technology due diligence, and working closely with portfolio companies to enhance their technological capabilities and market position. The role demands a strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms, and a leader who can effectively manage and mentor a team of technology professionals. The candidate should be adept at fostering relationships, both internally and externally, and be prepared to take on a hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
