Senior Order Management & Billing Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Order Management & Billing Specialist to join our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex order operations, billing accuracy, revenue cycle support, and process improvements that directly support our global customer base. About You - Experience, Education, Skills & Accomplishments

Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent, relevant work experience

1+ years' of experience in billing and order management

1+ years' experience using Salesforce, NetSuite, or Oracle for order management

It would be great if you also have:

Experience supporting new product launches or prerelease order workflows

Experience provisioning customer access within internal systems

Exposure to Sales and Legal collaboration for order approvals

Additional experience in subscription-based or SaaSrelated billing environments

Experience working with order entry, invoice generation, rebills, Contracts review, Government Portals (E-Billing) and revenue cycle processes

Ability to troubleshoot complex billing and account issues

Familiarity with SOP creation, exception tracking, process enhancement and process documentation

Exposure to contract review and ensuring order and Invoice accuracy.

What Will You Be Doing in This Role?

Accurately enter customer orders and perform order validations

Generate invoices and ensure billing accuracy

Process customer credit and rebills and handle tax certificate verification

Maintain SOPs and track customer exceptions

Develop workflow processes for new products

Drive and support process improvement initiatives

Contribute to root cause analysis for recurring issues

Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding order/billing status

Troubleshoot complex account setup issues

Support monthly revenue close and operational audits

Assist with pre and postlaunch activities for new product rollouts

Provision customer product access and support system configuration/migrations

Ensure orders reflect correct contractual terms, approvals, and quality checks

Collaborate with Sales and Legal to review custom or complex orders

About the Team You’ll join a collaborative team of Clarivate Order management and Billing, supporting a wide range of internal and external customers. Our team manages order operations, billing accuracy, exception handling, process optimization, and product provisioning. The team values precision, continuous improvement, and cross‑functional partnership, working closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, Product, and Tax. You’ll have opportunities to learn advanced workflows and support new product development.

Hours of Work This is a fulltime permanent role, working Monday through Friday. This is a hybrid position, working in office 3 days per week.
