The Role – Account Manager Arine is seeking an experienced Account Manager to expand our sales organization. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, self‑driven, and passionate about improving lives. This role is a key part of a small, expert team dedicated to delivering a best‑in‑class software solution to health plans, risk‑bearing providers, PBMs, and other health organizations.
What You’ll Be Doing
Become an expert on Arine’s platform, services, and value proposition within the first three months.
Take ownership of a defined client load and maintain executive‑level relationships to ensure attainment of clients’ strategic business and growth goals.
Consultatively convert customer vision into actionable account strategies, closing multi‑year renewals for 100% of assigned clients each year.
Identify innovative ideas to solve issues that provide long‑term value for clients.
Develop and cultivate strong relationships with leadership at health plans and assess market opportunities to prioritize potential customers.
Achieve 100% client retention by partnering with clients to be essential to their operational and performance endeavors.
Actively grow the value of the relationship year over year, securing a minimum of one client referral annually.
What You’ll Need
Minimum of 10 years in sales/client management with a proven track record of execution, innovation, and passion for growth in the healthcare industry, preferably with health plans, risk‑bearing providers, and PBMs.
Record of exceeding quota within a hyper‑growth technology organization.
Strong knowledge of health plans and risk‑bearing provider industry segments, including top and bottom‑line performance improvement levers.
Experience building pipeline through identification of cross‑sell/upsell opportunities, including prospecting and executing large enterprise deals, and managing long‑term client partnerships.
Exceptional communication skills and demonstrated ability to negotiate complex contracts with executive‑level client stakeholders.
Foundational understanding of CMS Stars programs and health plan affordability strategies that improve performance.
Experience building and managing senior and executive‑level relationships and understanding how to remove barriers, build bridges, and align customer and company needs.
Travel and Other Information
Travel up to 20–30%
Remote Work Requirements Arine offers a fully remote role but requires occasional on‑site meetings multiple times per year, including during the interview process, onboarding, and team meetings.
