Account Executive – Eurofins Environment Testing
Eurofins Environment Testing, part of the world’s largest network of testing laboratories, is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Account Executive to join our North Central sales team. This role supports our Cedar Falls, Iowa laboratory while owning a multi-state territory across Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska.
This is a unique opportunity to step into an established book of business while also building new relationships and expanding Eurofins’ presence across key environmental markets. The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of hunter mentality and account management discipline, with the ability to operate independently in a geographically diverse territory.
Key Functions
Manage and grow an existing book of business within the assigned territory.
Drive new business development across targeted market segments.
Partner with operations and marketing to execute strategic growth initiatives.
Own and deliver on regional revenue and growth targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients while actively prospecting and closing new business opportunities (approximately 55% existing / 45% new).
Drive revenue growth across key markets, including environmental consulting, industrial clients, landfills, and municipal wastewater programs.
Identify, pursue, and win new opportunities through proactive outreach, relationship building, and solution‑based selling.
Conduct regular in‑person client visits throughout the territory; travel is expected up to approximately 40% of the time, including overnight stays.
Develop and execute territory‑specific sales plans aligned with Eurofins’ growth strategy.
Collaborate with laboratory operations to ensure client needs are clearly communicated and delivered upon.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain pipeline visibility through CRM tools.
Support broader regional and national sales initiatives, including key account growth and market expansion efforts.
Represent Eurofins at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to increase market visibility and generate new opportunities.
Qualifications
BS/BA required (preferably in Environmental Engineering/Science, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, or related field).
At least 2–3 years of sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Laboratory or environmental industry experience strongly preferred.

Experience in environmental consulting, environmental laboratory services, or closely related industries strongly preferred.
An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and build a territory.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to manage a multi‑state territory with effective travel planning and time management.
Territory & Location
Territory includes: Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska.
Preferred location: Eastern or Central Iowa, or the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.
Candidates located elsewhere within the territory will be considered.
Compensation Base salary range: $95,000 – $115,000 per year, plus commission and car allowance.
