Senior PLM Consultant - Windchill

We are looking for a

Senior PLM Consultant

to support a major, high‑visibility PLM transformation program.

The ideal candidate will bring strong functional PLM expertise (Windchill preferred), experience in solution design, business process understanding, and the ability to drive workshops and guide both customers and internal teams.

This position combines

functional leadership, solution consulting, and coordination with international delivery teams , requiring both autonomy and strong communication skills.

PLM Functional Consulting & Solution Design

Lead functional workshops with business stakeholders to understand processes, requirements, and constraints.

Translate business needs into clear, scalable PLM solution designs (Windchill preferred).

Define functional specifications, configuration approaches, and process flows.

Support customization strategies, upgrades, migrations, and integration needs.

Conduct AS‑IS / TO‑BE analysis and drive requirements prioritization.

Configuration & PLM Expertise

Perform or oversee functional configuration of Windchill (or similar PLM platforms).

Contribute to the definition of data models, workflows, change management processes, and document structures.

Provide guidance on best practices, PLM governance, and system usage.

Support UAT, training sessions, and user enablement.

Project & Stakeholder Leadership

Act as the primary functional point of contact for the customer.

Coordinate with technical and nearshore teams (Poland, Asia) ensuring smooth delivery.

Facilitate communication between business representatives, IT teams, and technical stakeholders.

Present PLM solutions and progress to management and executive audiences.

Contribute to project planning, estimation, and scope definition.

PLM & Technical Expertise

7+ years of experience with PLM systems (Windchill strongly preferred).

Strong understanding of PLM processes: BOM/BOP, workflows, configuration & change management, document management, ERP interaction.

Experience with system configuration and functional administration.

Exposure to customization and integration concepts (ERP, CAD, MES).

Experience in industries such as aerospace, automotive, pharma, or manufacturing is a plus.

Leadership & Communication

Ability to lead workshops and guide functional decisions.

Experience working with distributed, multicultural teams.

Strong communication skills, able to articulate complex topics to both technical and business stakeholders.

Natural leadership qualities and proactive mindset.

Languages

French & English required; Spanish is an advantage.
