
Senior Legal Counsel

In this role, you will provide strategic legal guidance at the intersection of technology, privacy, and global digital engagement. You will partner closely with product, engineering, and fundraising teams to support the development of innovative, user-facing platforms while ensuring compliance with evolving regulations. Accountabilities:
Provide comprehensive legal counsel to product, engineering, and fundraising teams on marketing, privacy, and technology-related matters
Analyze and interpret global regulations related to digital marketing, fundraising initiatives, and product development
Support the development of data governance frameworks that balance innovation with strong privacy protections
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including public policy and legal professionals, to address emerging challenges such as generative AI
Advise on legal risks and opportunities associated with new features, platforms, and user engagement strategies
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, policies, and guidelines to support business operations
Contribute to building a scalable legal ecosystem that supports global digital products and services
Requirements:
Law degree (J.D. or equivalent) with strong legal experience, preferably including exposure to U.S. legal frameworks
5–7 years of experience advising on product, privacy, marketing, or internet law within a technology‑driven organization
Proven experience supporting go‑to‑market strategies, fundraising initiatives, or digital product development
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively alongside engineering and product teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
Solid understanding of data protection, privacy regulations, and digital platform governance
Analytical mindset with the ability to navigate complex, evolving legal landscapes
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, remote, and multicultural environment
Additional experience in marketing, fundraising, AI, or international legal matters is a plus
