Compensation
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $62,300.00 – $103,900.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to $27,200.00, based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives.

Position Details
Account Managers will generate positive sales growth for a specific geography or vertical market with an average of 10‑15 current accounts and $3 M to $3.5 M annual revenue. Use Grainger’s CRM (Salesforce) to perform all daily business tasks. You will report to the District Sales Manager of Manufacturing.
You Will
Understand customer goals and remain alert to changing needs.
Demonstrate knowledge of market data and access resources to respond quickly to new developments.
Oversee inventory support tasks to deepen customer understanding, increase contacts, and boost sales results.
Provide solutions that grow profitable sales by leveraging Grainger’s value proposition.
Develop account penetration strategies and conduct regular business reviews with essential customers to maximize sales.
You Have
High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years of direct outside sales experience.
Experience with sales forecasting, opportunity management, and customer planning.
Travel at least once per month to each customer within the aligned market, or more frequently when needed.
Process discipline and the ability to align planning goals with pipeline development to grow market revenue.
Skilled in uncovering customer objections and concerns, and determining appropriate solutions.
