What You’ll Do NinjaTrader’s Design organization is seeking an experienced Staff UX Product Designer. You will drive design and execution to deliver best-in-class user experiences, balancing simplicity and innovation to stay ahead of the competition. Lead and drive design for a vertical, enhancing new and existing customer experiences Own end-to-end design process with customer-centric solutions for new and seasoned users Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to meet user and business needs Maintain high standards of design craft across visual, interaction, and usability aspects Drive product-led growth through intuitive product experiences that boost adoption and satisfaction Contribute to and evolve the Design System to scale with growth Mentor and lead other designers, fostering collaboration and design excellence Participate in design critiques, product discussions, and pair-designing sessions Communicate design concepts clearly to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership What You’ll Need 7+ years of product design experience, including cross-functional teamwork Proven track record delivering customer-centric design solutions for complex products Strong portfolio in interaction design, visual design, information architecture, user research, journey mapping, and personas Experience with modern design tools (e.g., Figma) and contributing to Design Systems Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to advocate for design decisions Strong problem-solving abilities balancing user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, outcome-driven environment Bonus Points Experience in futures trading, financial markets, or investment platforms Compensation Salary: $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 USD. Annual target bonus: 12% (based on individual performance 50% and company/team performance 50%). NinjaTrader offers a 401(k) matching up to 3.5%. Annual PTO is 23 days plus seven paid holidays. Location and Hybrid Location: Chicago, IL. Remote work flexibility may be available for exceptional candidates in select states. Hybrid schedule for Chicago-based employees: in-office Tuesday–Thursday, remote Monday and Friday. Additional remote days: 20 flex days annually; 5 Company-Wide Office-Optional weeks tied to major holidays.
