Designs and develops user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements. Owns assigned tasks. May serve as lead or train staff. Complete Description Job Summary Job Responsibilities and Performance Standards Function as the IT subject matter expert for website creation and design Provide an IT development and user support role for website development Ensure quality development and operation of assigned tasks Ensuring responsive design that adapts seamlessly to various screen sizes Testing the website before deployment and debugging the website code Maintaining the website and supporting the organization/client on website updates Collaborating with designers to understand and execute their vision Connecting the database and maintaining integrations Analyzes customers information needs, business problems and business opportunities and assist in determining the most efficient and effective systems/programming solutions Builds, designs, and maintains assigned websites and software applications. Creates solutions for identified problems or bugs. Communicates with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders daily. Develops and validates test routines to ensure the quality of the external and internal interface. Plans and delivers software platforms and products across multiple organizational units. Designs assignments with web services like REST, SOAP, etc. Evaluates written code to ensure it meets industry standards and is compatible with all devices using Standard and Mobile device design. Knowledge of ADA web accessibility compliance and WCAG 2.1 standards Maintains a professional understanding of web development by tracking trends and participating in study groups. Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics usage and website reporting a plus Knowledge of API hooks with other platforms (ex. Workday, social media platforms, etc.) Knowledge of ESRI or mapping software a plus Experience with Adobe creative cloud products a plus Qualifications Knowledge of ADA web accessibility compliance and WCAG 2.1 standards Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics usage and website reporting a plus Knowledge of API hooks with other platforms (ex.
