Social Media & Content Manager (Part-Time) — Music Client/Artist
Location: Los Angeles, CA (must be based in LA)
Type: Part-Time (Hybrid: Remote + In-Person)
About the Role
We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Manager to work directly with one of our internationally touring clients — helping shape how the project shows up online across platforms.
This is not a passive, behind-the-scenes role.
You’ll be in the room , at shows, in sessions, and involved in capturing and executing content that reflects the energy of the project in real time.
If you understand music culture, move fast, and know what actually performs online — this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Capture content in real-time (shows, studio sessions, day-to-day moments)
Create and edit short-form content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts)
Manage and schedule posts across all social platforms
Collaborate directly with the artists on content direction and ideas
Stay on top of trends and identify opportunities early (not late)
Turn raw moments into high-performing content quickly
Help maintain a consistent, elevated brand presence across all channels
What We’re Looking For
Based in Los Angeles (non-negotiable)
Strong understanding of music & culture
Proven ability to create content that performs (not just looks good)
Fast turnaround — you can shoot, edit, and post without bottlenecks
Highly organized and reliable
Comfortable working in fast-paced, unstructured environments
Available for in-person work (shows, shoots, etc.)
Bonus If You
Have worked with artists, musicians, or music brands before
Understand what actually drives growth (not just aesthetics)
Can bring creative direction — not just execution
Compensation
Part-time role (hours will vary based on schedule)

This role is great for someone who:
Has 1-3 years social media experience (professional or personal brand)
Knows ins and outs of TikTok and Instagram
Is proficient at CapCut and other basic video editing
Is organized and has experience with Dropbox
Is a college student, recent college graduate, or 1-3 years post-college
Is open/willing/excited to travel if needed (could require some weekend travel over time)
Looking for something long-term that can expand in both responsibilities and pay overtime

We’re not looking for someone to “run socials.”
We’re looking for someone who understands how to build attention, capture moments, and translate energy into content that moves.
