Core Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related discipline
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations (e.g., Plant Manager, Director of Operations, or equivalent)
Proven experience with full P&L ownership and operational decision-making
Preferred Requirements: Experience in complex manufacturing environments with high variability and longer production cycles Background in multi-site or regional operations leadership roles
The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of hands-on training programs for frontline leaders across manufacturing operations. This role focuses on building real-world leadership capability in plant environments, emphasizing decision-making, problem-solving, financial acumen, and operational execution. The Director will modernize training content, implement scalable learning systems, and partner with operational leadership to strengthen performance across the organization.
Responsibilities: Design and deliver hands-on training programs for frontline leaders, focusing on real-world operational execution and leadership development. Coach and develop supervisors, plant leaders, and operations teams in decision-making, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Lead operational training initiatives tied to financial performance, including P&L ownership and cost-impact awareness. Modernize training content, tools, and delivery methods, including implementation of scalable learning systems and LMS platforms. Partner with plant and operations leadership to support performance improvement, Lean initiatives, and leadership capability building. Establish and optimize training frameworks, metrics, and cadence to ensure consistent development across manufacturing sites.
