Architectural Millwork Estimator Syracuse, New York Direct Hire $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 Commercial Architectural Millwork Estimator | $70,000–$75,000 Do you know millwork inside and out — and have the estimating chops to back it up? Sapphire Recruitment is partnering with an established, family-owned millwork and custom cabinetry shop in Syracuse, NY to find an experienced Architectural Millwork Estimator ready to take ownership of the full bid process. This is a role for someone who knows the millwork industry specifically. Construction estimation experience is a plus, but millwork is a different world — and our client needs someone who speaks that language fluently and isnt afraid to pick up the phone. What Youll Be Doing Read and interpret architectural drawings, millwork shop drawings, and blueprints to develop accurate take-offs Build detailed pricing and budgetary proposals using estimating software and Excel Research and price materials with precision Follow up with potential clients on the bid process — youll be the voice of the company, so strong communication matters Prioritize and manage multiple estimates simultaneously in a small, collaborative team environment Occasional CAD work a plus What Youll Bring 5+ years of millwork estimating experience — this is required, not preferred Ability to read blueprints and millwork shop drawings confidently Proficient in Excel and estimating software Strong verbal and written communication skills — youll be client-facing regularly Self-motivated, organized, and reliable with a stable work history Solid knowledge of tools, hardware, lumber, and construction materials CAD experience a bonus Details Pay: $70,000–$75,000 based on experience Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:00am–5:30pm, Friday 7:00am–12:00pm (some flexibility available) Location: Syracuse, NY — in-person role Relocation assistance considered for the right candidate Benefits include health & dental insurance, life insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays, and a retirement plan Submit your resume to: mfgresume@hiresapphire.com Sapphire Recruitment is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
