Lead Server

Overview As a Lead Server at The Source, located in the Suncadia Lodge, you will be responsible for providing a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. With impeccable communication you'll coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure that guest needs are met. As the individual with the longest and closest contact with guests, you will have the ability to create memorable guest experiences and influence their impression of the restaurant. As trusted Lead in the front‑of‑house team, you'll assist restaurant leadership in the training and coordinating of the work of other servers.

We are looking for three new lead servers, one to work the AM shift and two to work the PM shift.

Salary: $18.13/hour

Responsibilities

Assist restaurant leadership in the oversight & training of front‑of‑house team

Take tables as guests are seated in assigned section, utilizing all aspects of our service standards;

Set a positive, comfortable atmosphere for selling our product to the guest;

When delivering food, you are the last person to quality check the product. Be certain that it meets our standards. If not, notify the manager‑on‑duty;

Monitor assigned tables for customer satisfaction, quality, and additional service;

Pre‑bus, clearing all dishes as guests finish eating;

Address any guest issue promptly and with concern;

Assist fellow servers whenever possible;

Once phased, the first responsibility is to reset all assigned tables and check assigned station. Make sure the salt and pepper shakers and sugars are full and check the floor for cleanliness;

Complete assigned side work. Side work is not optional and will be checked out by the manager‑on‑duty;

Basic bartending, when specified by supervisor

Comply with all Washington State safety, health and labor regulations;

Comply with all Suncadia policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Current Washington state food handler permit required within 14-days of hire;

Current Washington state liquor license required wihthin 14-days of hire;

Ability to work either the AM or PM Shift

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Great communication and guest service skills

Minimum 2-years of previous serving and/or restaurant experience

Must be 18 years of age or older;

Ability to learn basic bartending skills; willing to occasional work bar shifts; if over 21 years old
