Performance Marketing Manager - Amazon Ads for US Ecommerce Company (Remote)

Client A growing cutting-edge e-commerce company located in South Portland, Maine. They manufacture and sell a portfolio of brands in the personal care space including retail and skincare. They sell their products via their own online stores and Amazon in the US, Canada, UK, Europe, and Australia. Their team of about 60 people operates from their production facility in South Portland.

Role Summary A data-driven performance marketer deeply experienced in paid acquisition, Amazon advertising, customer retention, and Google Ads. This person will optimize campaigns across platforms, identify profitable scaling opportunities, and improve funnel performance across brand sites and Amazon listings. You will collaborate with UX, design, SEO, and email—your core responsibility is driving growth through expert ad management and full-funnel performance optimization.

Responsibilities

Manage, optimize, and scale paid campaigns across Amazon Ads, Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok.

Strengthen Amazon PDPs (SEO, bullets, imagery, pricing, variations).

Participate in strategy + execution for Amazon Advertising (SP, SB, SD campaigns), bid optimization, keyword harvesting, and catalog troubleshooting.

Conduct structured A/B testing across landing pages, ads, and Amazon listings.

Manage Google Ads (PMax, Search, Shopping) including feed optimization, query filtering, and creative testing.

Identify and monitor KPIs in order to take proactive action and improve performance.

Work with CRO & UX resources to improve conversion through messaging and page flow.

Identify scalability opportunities and new audiences.

Guide creative strategy for performance-driven ad concepts.

Work with customer retention team on subscription plans and execution.

Identify threats (competition, rising CPCs, listing issues) and propose solutions.

Qualifications

7–10+ years of hands-on growth or performance marketing experience.

5+ years managing Google Ads and/or Amazon Ads at scale.

Proven track record improving conversion rates, lowering CPA, and scaling profitable campaigns.

Strong analytical background and familiarity with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Klaviyo, and feed tools.

Experience with A/B tests and CRO.

Able to guide creative direction, not responsible for design output.
