Job Description is offering a 6-month, unpaid, remote internship for a Social Media Editor & Manager . This internship is designed for creative, driven individuals with strong time management skills. Key Responsibilities Content Creation: Curate 3-7 engaging social media posts daily using articles, video content, and trending topics. Trend Sourcing: Identify trending content and apply it to social media output. Platform Management: Organize and schedule content using social media management tools. Creative Support: Assist with graphic design and video editing for social posts using Canva. Pitch Ideas: Brainstorm and pitch new content ideas. Learning Opportunity: Gain experience in content strategy, trend tracking, and voice development. Requirements 1+ years of experience in content curation and social media management within an entertainment and lifestyle publication. Intermediate proficiency with social media platforms and analytics tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Creative thinking and innovation in content development. Proficiency in graphic design and content creation tools (e.g., Canva). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn. Commitment to completing a 6-month internship. Attendance to weekly mandatory Monday Meeting. Responsiveness in the communication channels. Strong knowledge of pop culture, entertainment, and lifestyle, or a willingness to learn. Able to follow directions effectively. Hands-on experience in social media management.
