We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Communications Manager to drive content engagement, customer experience and brand visibility across multiple channels for a product portfolio across Cell and Gene Therapy and Therapeutic Apheresis solutions. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing integrated marketing communications strategies and campaigns that educate Terumo BCT GTI customers, support global and regional commercial teams, and strengthen our position as a leader in medical technology. This is a global role, preference will be given to candidates located at one of our global headquarters (Lakewood, CO or Zaventem, Belgium) with 3 days in office expectation; exceptional remote and hybrid candidates will be considered if qualified. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Digital Campaigns & Advertising In collaboration with Global Corporate Communications, lead the development and execution of organic and paid digital campaigns across social media, programmatic display, and other relevant channels. Build engaging, compliant campaign content (web, social, video, sales enablement tools) to drive awareness, grow interest and strengthen brand reputation. Optimize campaigns for maximum reach, engagement, and lead generation, tracking key performance metrics (e.g., impressions, clicks, site visits). Email & Marketing Automation Develop targeted email campaigns to engage GTI customers with relevant educational and promotional content. Manage performance analytics including open rates, CTR, and conversions to continuously improve campaign effectiveness. Content, Communications & Creative Development Partner with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality, compliant digital content including web, social, video, and sales enablement tools. Oversee the creation of core content assets (graphics, visuals, digital collateral, presentations, and videos) to support campaigns and brand initiatives. Manage external agencies and vendors to ensure on budget, timely delivery of creative assets, high‑quality and compliant output, with adherence to brand standards. Ensure consistent messaging and creative expression across all digital channels, aligned with brand strategy and medical accuracy. Congresses, KOL & Professional Engagement (Digital) Support the design and delivery of events such as congresses, trade shows and webinars. Collaborate with biotech/pharma/medical experts and KOLs to create educational content and strengthen thought leadership. Cross-Functional Support and Collaboration Build and deliver digital toolkits, training, and resources to enable commercial teams to effectively execute marketing programs. Champion best practices in digital marketing and marketing communications within the organization. Partner with Brand & Creative, Global Marketing Communications, PR & Social Media, Medical Affairs, Government Affairs, and Commercial Excellence to synchronize messaging and amplify impact. Ensure all communications remain compliant with regulatory and industry standards while maintaining customer‑centric innovation. Analytics & Optimization Define KPIs for digital campaigns and communications, regularly track performance, and provide insights to inform strategic decision‑making. Leverage data to continuously refine tactics and demonstrate campaign ROI. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field; advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in global marketing and communications, ideally within the healthcare, med tech, biotech, or pharma industry. Proven expertise in running integrated digital campaigns across multiple platforms (social, display, email, web). Strong skills in creative asset development, marketing automation tools, CRM platforms, and analytics. Experience managing external agencies and vendors, with a proven ability to drive efficiency, creativity, and accountability. Experience in industry/HCP engagement and/or regulated healthcare environments is highly desirable. Excellent project management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
