Your role and responsibilities As a Senior Business Development Consultant focused on SAP‑led engagements, you will be responsible for creating and developing complex, long‑term consulting opportunities. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, combining commercial acumen with strong interpersonal skills to shape value‑driven SAP transformation programs. Your primary responsibilities will include Driving strategic, SAP‑centered opportunities that require long‑term engagement, creativity, and consultative selling approaches, bringing together IBM Consulting services such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud solutions, SAP Data & Analytics, AI, Security, and Cloud, followed by implementation and application management services. Positioning IBM as a trusted SAP transformation partner by building credibility and long‑term relationships with executive‑level stakeholders. Leveraging reusable SAP deal and delivery patterns to scale across industries and markets, creating sustainable and repeatable business models. Creating tangible and intangible client value through ecosystem collaboration, including SAP and strategic alliance partners. Advancing end‑to‑end digital transformation by integrating SAP solutions with IBM Technology, Consulting capabilities, and industry best practices. Required education None Preferred education Master’s Degree Required technical and professional expertise Strong knowledge of the Polish market, including enterprise decision‑making processes and SAP buying dynamics. Proven experience working with large enterprise and mid‑market clients in Poland (Baltics as advantage), building long‑term, trust‑based relationships. Demonstrated success in developing and closing complex SAP or ERP‑driven consulting opportunities with multiple stakeholders. Solid understanding of SAP‑based digital transformation programs and the ability to articulate clear business value beyond technology. Experience in scaling successful SAP sales patterns and account strategies across clients or industries. Strong capability in building and nurturing partner ecosystems, particularly within SAP environments. Minimum 5 years of experience in selling IT consulting services, ideally with a strong focus on SAP solutions and enterprise transformation programs. Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to lead and influence virtual, cross‑functional teams (consulting, architects, delivery, finance, legal, alliance partners). Outstanding soft skills, including stakeholder empathy, relationship management, consultative mindset, and the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics. Confident executive‑level communication and negotiation skills, including board‑level discussions and workshop facilitation. Fluent English (C1) and fluent or native Polish. Preferred technical and professional experience Hands‑on experience supporting or selling SAP transformation programs, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud, or SAP process modernization initiatives. Ability to recognize, structure, and replicate successful SAP engagement models. Experience working with clients in the Baltic markets (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia) and understanding regional SAP market dynamics. The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full‑time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job‑related skills and experience. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part‑time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro‑rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
