Most Wanted: Music (MW:M) is the most important music business conference in Berlin and a rising European hotspot event for music and creative industry professionals worldwide. It is run by the Berlin Music Commission, the music industry network of Berlin. MW:M aims to start building the music and creative industries of tomorrow. Its key objectives are enabling practical know‑how transfer, fostering networking and exchange, and inspiring new ideas and business models. Offering a wide range of inspiring keynotes, interviews and debates, hands‑on workshops and matchmaking events, MW:M covers the most current and relevant questions of today’s music, tech and creative industries to bring direct value to creators and music businesses. The programme includes interactive talks, interviews and workshops with experts and artists worldwide, experimental networking formats and live performances. Responsibilities Report to the Head of Marketing Execute and monitor creative marketing, PR and social media campaigns Plan and create diverse media content for all communication and advertising purposes Run and monitor digital and analogue marketing, PR and social media marketing campaigns Work closely with other teams such as programme, partnerships and event management Qualifications You have at least 3 years of marketing experience You are passionate about creative markets and marketing You have basic knowledge of the music, tech and creative industries and are aware of current changes and challenges You have expertise in all relevant marketing areas and can think across channels You think outside the box when developing new stories around our interesting speakers, topics and event formats You go the extra mile to secure prominent placements in relevant media outlets You are results‑oriented and do not get lost in daily operational details You have a DIY mentality, are hands‑on and keep following up until you receive an appropriate reaction to your requests You excel in being a salesperson You are well organized, quality‑oriented and able to react quickly to unexpected changes You can keep calm in a fast‑paced and sometimes stressful event environment You are a team player and an excellent communicator internally within the team and externally towards media, speakers, sponsors and other partners You are fluent in German and have business‑fluent English skills Nice to have You have basic event management experience and know the processes and requirements of B2B events and their target groups You are experienced with digital content and have strong personal contacts to music‑related media outlets Benefits A professional working environment A highly qualified, experienced and motivated team Short communication channels and flat hierarchies Flexible working hours and locations A vast and vibrant network within the international music scene You will learn how to realise highly innovative events Berlin Music Commission expressly welcomes applications from people with migration backgrounds, women
