Assistant Account Executive
Full‑time position at Keadjian Associates. The role involves drafting press releases, talking points, fact sheets, and other materials to support clients’ public engagement campaigns. The role also requires creating and updating Excel charts, drafting meeting notes, supporting the account lead and team, and participating in client meetings.
Location: San Francisco Bay Area (hybrid in‑office and remote). The candidate may be required to attend in‑person team and client meetings and events in the Bay Area, Houston, or other locations. Expect approximately one to two multi‑day trips per month.
Responsibilities
Draft high‑quality materials (e.g., talking points, press releases, fact sheets)
Write materials with an eye for language and tone; ensure messaging optimizes the client’s brand voice and engages our audiences
Create and update Excel graphs and charts (e.g., project trackers and timelines) to track program goals and commitments
Participate in client meetings, draft meeting notes and track action items
Support account lead and team in daily activities
Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in communications, political campaigns, organizing or event management
Experience at a corporate communications, public relations or public affairs agency or comparable in‑house position is preferred
Exceptional writing skills
Ability to execute events with members of the public
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, switching seamlessly between multiple projects while paying close attention to details (grammar, spelling, consistency of message)
Superb interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions with minimal supervision
Highly motivated self‑starter who can also work collaboratively
Skilled in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint
Compensation
Base salary range: $65,000 to $70,000 per year ($32–$34 per hour). In addition, the company offers industry‑leading benefits such as end‑of‑year profit sharing and a performance bonus program for eligible employees.
