In this role, you’ll create high‑performing, on‑brand web solutions that support user experience, lead generation, and overall digital strategy. What You’ll Do Design and manage all creative and technical web design projects Design and manage Gradient event websites Design template websites for Financial Services Professionals Provide web design planning and project management Execute interactive web design based on custom and templated WordPress designs Ensure web projects are delivered on time Partner to help develop Financial Services Professionals’ brands through web‑based mediums Support lead generation using website and web‑related mediums Coordinate all aspects of internal and external customer communications and database tracking as necessary Communicate effectively with Financial Services Professionals and marketing team through development and launching of branded sites Manage projects and deadlines via the project tracker tool Initiate and work with other web designers and developers to promote collaboration and development as a team Be a resource to other team members to answer questions regarding web design and client correspondence Partner to troubleshoot web and client correspondence issues that other team members may have Provide training and insight to other team members on best practices and “how to” info on using WordPress or other web properties Partner with project managers and other web developers to successfully manage client relationships Serve as primary trainer for new web designers upon hire Manage internal and external customer relationships; partner with team members to ensure and maintain positive relationship management Provide direct correspondence and support for Financial Services Professionals inquiries, including calls, emails and face‑to‑face; assist team members with elevated inquiries Promote programs to Financial Services Professionals to generate new users and maintain existing users Attend events for face‑to‑face recruitment and maintenance of users Create presentations and present to potential program users All other duties as assigned What You Bring Bachelor’s degree or web design/development boot camp training – Required 5+ years of job‑relevant experience – Required Knowledge of restrictions and limitations as it relates to design for multiple devices Knowledge of website analytics and SEO trends Proficient knowledge of PHP, JavaScript (jQuery) Proficient knowledge of DNS management Proficient knowledge of UX best practices and trends Proficient knowledge of products and services offered by Luson Media and industry Proficient knowledge of financial services industry Advanced knowledge of consumer‑based technology products and experiences Advanced knowledge of testing processes and methodologies Advanced knowledge of project management, timelines, deadlines, and follow‑through on finished projects Advanced knowledge of office procedures and of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and arithmetic Advanced knowledge of coding trends/languages, specifically HTML and CSS Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Advanced knowledge of modern design trends and technologies Advanced knowledge of WordPress Advanced knowledge of financial systems, computer systems, spreadsheets, and electronic record systems Proficient skills in analyzing a design and making improvements Proficient skills in designing new UI with a good UX in mind Our Benefits Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits 4 weeks of accrued PTO, plus 9 paid holidays Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) 8 hours of paid volunteer time off (VTO) Ability to work in‑office four days per week with one remote workday Ongoing professional development and training A collaborative team that values expertise, initiative, and growth Why You’ll Love Working Here At Gradient, we set high expectations, but we back them with support, collaboration, and opportunities to grow.
