The Role at a Glance

As our Event Producer, you aren’t just planning parties—you’re crafting immersive stories. You will manage the entire lifecycle of ticketed events, ensuring they are financially sustainable, operationally seamless, and deeply engaging for our diverse community of guests.

• Location: Woodside, CA (Onsite)
• Schedule: Full-time, Exempt. Requires a flexible heart and schedule—frequent evenings and weekends are where the magic happens!
• Compensation: Salary range of $102,000 to $115,000 + full benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Paid Time Off, and more).

What You’ll Do

• Lead with Vision: Act as the "Product Manager" for our major revenue-generating events. You’ll partner with leadership to dream up new concepts and refine existing favorites.
• Master the Details: Oversee event budgets, track ROI, and use data (via Altru) to ensure our programs are thriving.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Marketing, Guest Experience, and Operations to ensure every run-of-show is flawless and every vendor is on point.
• Empower a Team: Directly supervise a Public Event Specialist and lead seasonal staff during events, fostering a culture of "Radical Candor" and mutual respect.
• Champion Equity: Integrate Filoli’s DEAI (Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion) goals into every event, ensuring our spaces feel welcoming to everyone.

Who You Are

• An Experienced Pro: You have at least 5 years of experience managing complex public events (think attractions or music venues) and 2 years of supervisory experience.
• A Strategic Thinker: You’re comfortable with tools like Monday.com and RACI models to keep projects on track.
• A People Person: You lead with empathy and self-awareness. You can stay calm under pressure and pivot gracefully when needs change.
• Technically Savvy: You’re a pro with Google Suite and Microsoft Office and can quickly learn new database systems.
• Physically Active: You’re ready to be on your feet, navigating our beautiful (and sometimes uneven) terrain, and can lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
