Director of Human Resources
Full-Time | Senior Leadership
We are seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead and scale the HR function for a growing government contracting organization. This role partners closely with executive leadership to drive HR strategy, ensure compliance, support a cleared workforce, and build scalable people‑focused programs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as senior HR advisor to executive leadership
- Lead HR strategy across compliance, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and HR operations
- Ensure compliance with federal/state employment laws and GovCon requirements (FAR/DFARS familiarity preferred)
- Oversee employee relations, investigations, and corrective actions
- Support talent acquisition efforts and workforce planning for cleared and technical roles
- Manage compensation benchmarking, benefits programs, and HRIS
- Lead performance review cycles, reporting, and HR metrics
- Build scalable HR policies, SOPs, and manager training
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
- 10+ years progressive HR experience, including 3+ years at Director level
- Strong employment law and compliance background
- Experience advising senior leaders
- GovCon and cleared workforce experience strongly preferred
- SHRM‑SCP, SPHR, or similar certification preferred
- HRIS experience
