
P&C Underwriting Services Representative

Overview
CopperPoint has an exciting opportunity for a P&C Underwriting Services Representative. In this role, you will support Underwriting within established guidelines by rating, binding, and issuing new business, as well as processing midterm policy changes across all Lines of Business. You’ll handle endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, renewals, audits, and broker changes while ensuring accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate brings commercial P&C experience, strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to prioritize and deliver quality results in a team environment.
Responsibilities
Understand Underwriting instructions to rate ALL lines of business effectively and accurately.
Rate and process ALL lines of business premium and non-premium bearing endorsements.
Process cancellations, reinstatements, and rewrites.
Prep new business and renewal accounts, including OFAC checks, web searches, requesting missing information, and entering loss information.
Binding and issuing of new and renewal business.
Support prepping, reviewing, and executing endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements and processing within defined guidelines.
Process Audit 1 policy changes and net rate updates.
Respond to agent or insured inquiries.
Process and communicate Broker of Service/Broker of Record changes.
Process all other defined tasks associated with new product/or vertical launches.
Qualifications
P&C Commercial lines experience required.
Auto, General Liability, Inland Marine, Property, Workers Compensation
High school diploma, or GED equivalent required.
BS/BA college degree, a plus. The knowledge and skill levels acquired through undergraduate level studies especially in the areas of business administration, finance or marketing.
Minimum two years work experience within commercial insurance.
Guidewire experience preferred.
Must be detail oriented.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize.
Accountability and dependability.
Excellent problem solving skills.

Ability to deliver business results.
