Sales Leadership Program Location: Albany, NY

Schedule: Full-time

Program Starts July 2026

Responsibilities

Actively participate in a 12-month development program to learn and understand LG&E business operations while developing leadership skills through on-the-job experiences, project assignments, and formal training.

Lead and administer special projects in sales execution supporting a general sales manager and their team of territory managers.

Work in a team environment to develop solutions and sales strategies for customers.

Help troubleshoot specific customer problems onsite, sharing technical knowledge and recommending solutions.

Demonstrate products and applications to new account customers or participate in customer demonstrations with senior sales professionals.

Participate in cold calling, both onsite and via phone, to potential targets.

Supervise a set of customer accounts, promoting sales, negotiating product supply agreements, and providing account service to assigned and potential customers.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers to meet their needs.

Ensure compliance with Linde policy and government regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Communications.

1-2 years of work experience, including internships in designated degree areas.

Demonstrated leadership in campus activities, clubs, sports, or community.

Innovative, flexible, committed, ambitious, and determined.

Positive attitude, willingness to adapt quickly to changing situations, strong communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Model high standards of honesty and integrity.

Track record of exceeding goals successfully.

Accountability through excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
