We are seeking a talented and dedicated Maintenance Director to join our team at Caring Acres Nursing and Rehab Center in Anita, Iowa. Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, including repairs, renovations, and upkeep of equipment and appliances
Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential maintenance issues before they become major problems
Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping and dietary, to ensure seamless operations and effective communication
Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost‑effectiveness and efficient use of resources
Maintain accurate records and reports of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and budgets
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certification or degree in a related field preferred
Minimum 0 years of experience in maintenance or a related field; experience in healthcare or senior living industry a plus
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on customer service and resident satisfaction
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems; experience with building maintenance software a plus
