Senior Reimbursement Specialist

What You’ll Do

Independently manage a personal reimbursement workload to confirm medical necessity and secure accurate insurance payments

Conduct timely insurance benefit verifications for new and existing patients

Submit and follow up on authorization requests and claims via phone and payer portals

Interpret authorization and claim denials and draft appeals

Research and interpret commercial payer medical policies and coverage guidelines

Verify accuracy of authorizations, pricing agreements, and bill-to insurance information

Differentiate between contract and non-contract carriers and support LOA negotiations

Investigate and resolve incorrect payments and escalate reimbursement trends

Submit and track claim appeals and payment disputes through resolution

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely reimbursement

Identify trends in authorization denials and suggest process improvements

Support achievement of team KPIs including authorization and claim resolution rates

About You

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

3–5 years of reimbursement-related experience; DME experience preferred

Strong knowledge of medical and insurance terminology

Proven ability to communicate effectively with insurance companies

Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred

What We Offer The pay range which Novocure expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting is $48,000- 81,000/yr. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job‑related knowledge and skills demonstrated.

NOVOFLEX

This role is based on‑site in Portsmouth, NH and supports multiple local office locations. Occasional overtime may be required to support events or business needs.
