
MARKETING SPECIALIST (FULL TIME)

Job Summary
Full‑time Administrative Assistant position in Washburn University, located at 1700 Southwest College Avenue, Topeka, KS 66621. The schedule is full‑time with variable days and hours; details will be provided during interview.
Responsibilities
Answer telephones and direct inquiries in a professional and client‑centric manner.
Maintain confidential personnel files.
Assist management staff in preparing confidential employment and labor relations documents, including proposed disciplinary notices.
Assist with staffing, including sourcing staff for short‑notice absences.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with co‑workers, school personnel, administrators, parents, and supervisors.
Complete and maintain accurate records of students eligible for free or reduced‑price lunches.
Enter weekly cash sales and meal counts using computer systems.
Perform daily bank deposit reconciliation.
Process vendor invoices for payment, verifying amounts and checking item prices against bid specifications.
Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliation.
Prepare monthly state claim forms for reimbursement.
Assist in preparing end‑of‑month financial reports.
Attend in‑service and/or safety meetings as required.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment; perform job duties safely.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Prior marketing experience is required.
Pay Range $20.00 – $22.00 per hour.
