Salary:

$30,000 - $100,000 (or commensurate with experience)

Full-Time, Temporary (through Election Day)

Position Overview The Campaign Manager will serve as the chief strategist and day-to-day leader of Ellie Gilbreath’s congressional campaign in Idaho’s Second District. This individual will be responsible for executing the overall campaign plan, managing staff and consultants, overseeing fundraising and communications, and ensuring the campaign meets its goals on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership

Develop and implement a comprehensive campaign plan, including field, communications, digital, and fundraising strategies

Set measurable goals and benchmarks; track progress and adjust tactics as needed

Advise the candidate on political strategy, messaging, and scheduling priorities

Team Management

Recruit, hire, and supervise campaign staff, interns, and volunteers

Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture

Manage external vendors and consultants (pollsters, media, compliance, etc.)

Fundraising

Create and execute a robust fundraising plan, including call time, events, and donor outreach

Track fundraising progress and ensure goals are met

Work closely with finance staff to manage donor relations and compliance

Field Operations

Oversee voter contact programs including canvassing, phone banking, and volunteer engagement

Ensure effective use of voter data and targeting tools

Coordinate Get‑Out‑The‑Vote (GOTV) efforts

Communications

Collaborate on messaging strategy across earned media, digital, and paid communications

Oversee press outreach, social media, and rapid response efforts

Ensure message consistency across all campaign channels

Operations & Compliance

Develop and manage campaign budget

Ensure compliance with federal election laws and reporting requirements

Oversee campaign logistics including scheduling, travel, and event planning

Qualifications

Prior experience managing or senior-level involvement in a political campaign (congressional experience preferred)

Strong leadership, organizational, and decision‑making skills

Proven fundraising experience and understanding of donor engagement strategies

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work long, irregular hours in a fast‑paced environment

Familiarity with Idaho’s political landscape is a plus
