Job Vision The Digital Media Manager supports the direction of marketing and communications by owning the strategy and execution for all Milestone Church digital communication, including social media, email communications, and other related digital initiatives.

Core Responsibilities Social Media Strategy & Leadership

Lead the Social Team during all special events.

Develop a team of volunteers who can assist with responding, photography, stories, and content creation.

Maintain a competitive understanding of all social media platforms and find ways to implement them on Milestone Social Media.

Present a 2-week rolling strategy to the Marketing Manager weekly.

Present comprehensive strategies for all social media accounts for special events to the Marketing Manager for approval.

Oversee training and development of the Social Media Coordinator.

Assist the Marketing Manager in developing a team of volunteers who can assist with responding, photography, stories, and content creation.

Social Media Execution

Oversee the execution of the weekly social media strategy by maintaining the timeline, assigning tasks, curating content, and caption writing.

Oversee collaboration and execution of Milestone Church ministry accounts as needed.

Work closely with the owners of Jeff Little and Brandy Little’s social media accounts to support strategy and execution as needed.

Manage comment moderation and direct messaging for Milestone Church social accounts.

Collaborate and meet weekly with designers and videographers to curate content.

Oversee the execution of content curation for all digital marketing ads with direction from the Marketing Manager.

Maintain Milestone Church branding across all accounts.

Photography & Media Coverage

Manage annual media coverage.

Schedule media coverage for weekend services, special events, and requested events.

Rent additional gear when required.

Assist with photography and videography capture and contractors for special events as needed.

Build and manage a strong photography volunteer team.

Lead the Media Team breakout monthly for Serve Team 201.

Teach and train new photography volunteers.

Assist with quarterly training nights for volunteers and recruits.

Schedule volunteers for weekends, major events, and ministries as needed.

Capture weekends and events as needed.

Oversee the photography storage process.

Email Communication

Maintain a competitive understanding of email communication best practices.

Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop an email communication strategy across all campuses.

Maintain a 4-week rolling email schedule (eblasts) and oversee content, design, and copywriting.

Coordinate with the Business Office and Ministry Directors to determine criteria and pull and upload required lists.

Create and maintain email templates for efficiency and consistency.

Track, analyze, and report on email performance monthly, providing insights for improvement.

Team Management

Build and maintain a high-performing team.

Participate in the recruitment and selection process for new team members.

Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.

Set clear performance expectations and goals for team members.

Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members.

Plan, organize, and prioritize team tasks and projects.

Monitor project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.

Ensure that the team's work meets quality standards.

Ability to work in a team environment, interacting with other departments to obtain information needed to complete tasks.

Experience with Adobe Software Products.

Mac experience and basic Microsoft Office applications.
