ROLE SUMMARY The copywriter is responsible for developing clear, compelling, and on-brand copy that supports Foot Levelers marketing and communication goals. This role focuses on execution with growing strategic input, translating complex health and wellness concepts into accessible, engaging messaging across digital and print channels. The Copywriter will create content primarily for a B2B audience while occasionally developing messaging that reaches end consumers within a B2B2C context.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Write and edit high-quality copy for websites, email campaigns, product materials, social media, ads, and print assets; review and refine healthcare professional editorials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand and regulatory guidelines
Apply and consistently maintain Foot Levelers’ brand voice, tone, and messaging standards
Collaborate closely with marketing, design, product, and sales teams to support campaigns and initiatives
Conduct research on products, audiences, and industry trends to inform messaging
Optimize content for SEO and readability while preserving clarity and credibility
Incorporate feedback efficiently and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
SUCCESS METRICS (EXAMPLES)
Increase engagement rates (email CTR, page time, social engagement) on assigned content
Improve conversion performance on key pages or campaigns through copy testing and iteration
Deliver projects on time and on brief with minimal revision cycles
Demonstrate consistent adherence to brand voice and messaging guidelines
Contribute copy that supports growth in qualified leads or practitioner engagement
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field
3+ years of professional copywriting experience (in-house or agency)
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
Ability to adapt tone and style across channels and audiences
Working knowledge of SEO and digital content best practices
Strong collaboration, organization, and time-management skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in healthcare, wellness, or practitioner-focused industries
Familiarity with performance metrics and basic A/B testing concepts
Experience supporting integrated marketing or campaign-based work
