Overview
BMarko Structures is a leading modular construction company manufacturing volumetric steel modules and shipping containers as permanent structures in the commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial space. Our structures are installed throughout the United States and abroad. We believe that it's time for the construction industry to change. By completing up to 90% of our buildings at our factory, we are taking workers out of the job site and into streamlined manufacturing facilities.
Position Overview The Revit Designer will support the design and development of modular building projects by designing and drawing plans for manufacturability. This will be accomplished through utilizing Autodesk Revit and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure the designs meet customer specifications and can be produced in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge and Expertise
Solid experience with Autodesk Revit (required)
Additional knowledge of CAD programs such as AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, etc. (preferred)
Strong experience with architectural and MEP construction drawings, including interpreting blueprints and technical cut sheets
Direct experience with fabrication or engineered shop drawings (required)
Responsibilities
Draft and develop 3D models of modular buildings for ongoing and new projects using Autodesk Revit
Model structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing elements (training provided if not proficient in all disciplines)
Generate fabrication and engineered shop drawings from 3D models, including dimensioning, annotation, and application of industry symbols (welding, taping, etc.)
Collaborate with the Assistant Engineering Manager to revise shop drawings based on client feedback and input from the production department
Ensure all drawings meet company standards, technical accuracy, and project timelines.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required; engineering, architecture, or design degree preferred
Minimum 3 years of CAD drafting experience, including at least 2 years in Revit
Strong technical aptitude and exceptional learning capacity
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
