Overview
Moulthrop-Clift, Inc., a long-established independent insurance agency in Bay City, Michigan, is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for providing high-level service to commercial clients, supporting producers, and managing new and renewal commercial accounts. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities
Service and manage commercial lines, new business, and renewal accounts Assist producers with marketing, placement, and account servicing Complete annual account reviews and assess risks and coverage needs Process endorsements, certificates, invoices, renewals, cancellations, and claims Monitor renewals, expirations, and receivables Maintain accurate and up-to-date agency records and management system data Communicate professionally with clients and team members via phone, email, and text Maintain required licensing and continuing education Stay current on underwriting requirements and industry trends Qualifications
Active state insurance license Minimum of 3 years of commercial insurance experience Strong knowledge of commercial coverages, underwriting, and agency operations Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills Professional phone etiquette and a strong customer service mindset Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Health, life, disability, and vision insurance
