
Assistant Property Manager

About The Role As a CBRE Assistant Property Manager you will support the Associate Real Estate Manager/Real Estate Manager or higher staff in managing all aspects of a single property or portfolio of commercial, industrial or retail properties, including marketing, operations, and financial activities. This job is part of the Property Management function and involves operating buildings on behalf of clients or groups.
What You’ll Do
Respond to tenant needs, ensuring that administrative and building technical staff resolve problems promptly and that services comply with policies, procedures, regulations and contractual obligations.
Assist in performing periodic property inspections and recommend necessary alterations, maintenance and reconditioning.
Review and recommend approvals to Associate REM or REM or higher staff for accurate payment of vendor invoices in compliance with management agreements, CBRE policies and PM approval matrices.
Assign Purchase Orders according to CBRE Policies and PM approval matrices.
Help prepare accurate tenant billings.
Coordinate tenant move‑ins, move‑outs and walk‑throughs with tenants and the tenant improvement department.
Assist in preparing and delivering timely, accurate and complete reports.
Assist in producing research data on budget line items or entering budget data into budget reports.
Gather preliminary data for accounts receivable aging reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Use general knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience.
Model CBRE RISE values by leading by example.
Impact the quality of own work.
Follow standardized procedures to meet objectives and deadlines.
Maintain clear communication by asking questions and confirming understanding.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
Experience analyzing information and applying standard practices to make judgments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
Benefits Minimum salary $60,000 annually (or $28.85 per hour); maximum salary $70,000 annually (or $33.65 per hour). Successful candidates will also be eligible for discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s benefit program. Benefits include 401(K), dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance and vision insurance.
