Sales Designer
Kitchen Cove Design Studio, Portland, ME, United States
Overview
Kitchen Cove Design Studio is seeking an experienced Sales Designer to lead clients through the full design process—from concept and selections to pricing and project completion. This is a creative, client-facing role for a true design professional, not an entry-level salesperson.
Our team manages simultaneous active projects and completes upwards of 60 high-end kitchens annually. With continued growth and strong demand, we’re looking for a designer who can confidently own projects and client relationships from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
Design high-end kitchens and baths
Conduct measurements and space planning
Present design concepts and guide finish selections
Price projects and translate design decisions into clear client value
Collaborate with our internal design support team while owning the design vision
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in cabinetry and kitchen/bath design
Proficient in 20/20 design software
Comfortable with premium cabinetry lines
Strong knowledge of cabinetry standards and building codes
Ability to think beyond basic layouts and create thoughtful, functional spaces
Confident presenting ideas and pricing to homeowners
Our Culture We’re collaborative, low ego, and community-oriented. Expertise is respected, but humility matters. The right fit will appreciate Portland’s quiet confidence and relationship-driven approach—professional, down-to-earth, and team-minded. If you’re ready to design at a high level while building trusted client relationships, we’d love to hear from you.
