Primary Purpose\nThe campus Title I Intervention Specialist serves as part of the school’s leadership team: providing specialized instruction to identified struggling students receiving services through the response to intervention process, monitoring student progress through quantitative and qualitative measures and participating in Student Success Plan (SSP) meetings to provide recommendations regarding adjustments to student instructional plans. Major Responsibilities And Duties\nProvide daily focused instruction in small group math or literacy settings in a push‑in model for struggling students.

Assist the classroom teacher in maintaining progress monitoring records and anecdotal information as required by the SSP committee in order to effectively measure student progress while participating in given interventions.

Use a variety of assessments and monitoring tools to help diagnose and prescribe individual students needs as well as monitor the progress of individual students daily and throughout the year.

Participate in purposeful planning with teachers in specified PLC’s and grade level meetings to assist teachers in identifying and serving students in need of intervention.

Participate in all required interventionist Specialist professional developments and district level meetings. The Title I Intervention Specialist is charged with acquiring the knowledge, skills, technology skills, and instructional intervention strategies necessary to effectively impact student achievement.

Work collaboratively with the Curriculum and Instruction Coordinators and Title I Academic Specialists.

Meet regularly with the school administration to keep them abreast of student progress.

Actively pursue opportunities for life‑long learning and professional growth.

Uphold and enforce school rules, administrative regulations, and legal/local board policies.
