Job Summary
As a Sales Consultant for Waunakee Remodeling (Windows & Doors division), you will play a key role in helping homeowners improve their homes through high-quality window and door replacement solutions. Sales Consultants conduct in-home consultations with customers, evaluate their needs, and provide tailored recommendations using industry-leading products.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Follow established sales processes through to completion while meeting or exceeding annual sales goals.
Be professional, timely, and deliver a professional consultative sales experience.
Guide customers through product selection, design options, and the project process from initial appointment through contract completion.
Prepare concise detailed contracts, including photos and paperwork throughout the job.
Partner with internal staff to address customer concerns or questions and work together to find a solution. Promote world class customer experience from Sale to Installation.
Attend bi-weekly staff meetings to address sales agendas, products, and sales training.
Maintain a vehicle (company or personal) with company signage and a clean appearance.
Host our Waunakee or Odana Road showrooms.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1 year of sales or customer service experience required.
Required Skills
Valid driver’s license is required with an excellent driving record preferred.
Strong ability to learn and effectively use sales technology, including iPads, quoting tools, and CRM systems, is preferred.
Work Environment
The majority of the working conditions and physical demands are normal for an office or home environment. A small percentage of the physical environment will require the employee to conduct business both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, dry/arid conditions while visiting job sites. This position requires the ability to use ladders or stairs to access areas of the home for inspection.
A typical work schedule will involve appointments between the hours of 8am to 7pm Monday – Friday. Saturday appointments may be scheduled as well. Seasonal events such as home shows may require evening and weekend shifts. Hours are also required in the office.
95% travel required in and around Dane County, Southern WI, and Northern IL (Rockford). The remaining 5% is at our Waunakee office.
