Employee Relations Business Partner
The Employee Relations Business Partner plays a critical role at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, supporting our mission to create a strong and resilient economy for all. As a key member of our People & Culture organization, you will lead and manage a range of activities related to employee relations, compliance, and workforce policies while working collaboratively with our HR Business Partner team. This position reports to the Senior Manager of HR Business Partners. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate leadership competencies across responsibilities and build leadership capability in direct team and others in the organization Develop relationships and trust across business units, stakeholders, and customers through effective partnership and consultation Provide strategic input for department goals and objectives that support the Bank's strategic plan Assist the HRBP team as needed, including projects and assignments outside the area of investigations such as workforce planning, accommodations requests, work restructuring, compliance and special training Employee Relations Lead investigations and guide discussions on employee complaints/issues Partner with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and Legal to recommend and implement appropriate disciplinary actions Compile comprehensive documentation and prepare investigation summaries to develop fair outcomes Reporting Track and report on investigations based on resolution, frequency, and root cause analysis Provide trend reporting to People and Culture and senior leadership Create and maintain monthly reports using SharePoint and Workday Collaborate with internal HR teams to provide accurate data and presentation of performance, hires, leaves, turnover or other relevant "people" data that drives decisions Compliance and Policy Management Ensure adherence to employment regulations and Bank policies Apply in-depth knowledge of applicable state and federal employment laws Develop and interpret workforce policies, including Equal Employment Opportunity matters Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in human resource management, legal studies, or a related field or equivalent experience 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years specializing in employee relations and workplace investigations. Experience leading HR initiatives and guiding management through complex employee relations issues Thorough knowledge of applicable state and federal employment and labor laws Demonstrated business acumen, relationship management, and leadership skills Strong problem-solving abilities, critical evaluation skills, and strategic vision Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Experience with HR information systems, particularly Workday Total Rewards Bring your passion and expertise, and we'll provide the opportunities that will challenge you and propel your career growthalong with a wide range of benefits and perks that support your health, wealth, and life.
