About the Role
The Company is in search of a Managing Director for Private Credit with a focus on East Coast coverage. The successful candidate will be a full-cycle investor with a strong background in the lower middle market, particularly in the Southeast region. This role is pivotal in leading the origination, execution, and portfolio management of 7-8 high-quality sponsor-backed deals. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years' experience in private credit, mezzanine, or SBIC-backed investing, and must be adept at both deal origination and underwriting. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining a regional portfolio, sitting on portfolio company boards, and driving value creation strategies. The role demands an individual with a strong operational and board-level experience, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a desire to build and grow a regional franchise.
