Job Summary / Description Live 5 News is looking for a part‑time video editor. Video editors are responsible for shooting and editing video shot locally, as well as from other sources, including CBS & CNN. The editor is responsible for attaching all videos to our early evening newscasts. Our next editor needs to be a good communicator and must be able to meet strict deadlines. While this is an entry‑level position, attention to detail is an absolute necessity. Duties / Responsibilities Work closely with producers, reporters, and photographers to complete editing assignments. Qualifications / Requirements Prior experience with ENPS and Edius or other non‑linear editing is preferred. The ability to shoot video is helpful. A journalism degree is a plus, but we also welcome current students. Must be available in the afternoons and evenings, Monday‑Friday.
