Our growing Social Media team in New York is dedicated to delivering best-in-class content that empowers people to take control of their financial futures. As an Assistant Editor Associate at Chase Social Media within Consumer and Community Banking, you will play a key part in shaping our brand's voice and producing timely, engaging content for millions of people across our digital channels. In this role, you will help others make smarter money decisions and create content that educates and inspires. Responsibilities Write, edit, and proofread content for Chase’s social media platforms, with a focus on personal finance, financial health, and brand storytelling. Pitch, research, and develop engaging features and social-first content that reflect timely trends, audience interests, and viral moments in the world of money and banking. Collaborate with designers, videographers, and other content creators to support posts with compelling visuals, video, and multimedia assets. Assist in managing the editorial calendar, ensuring content is timely, accurate, and aligned with Chase’s brand voice and objectives. Support the development and execution of repeatable editorial franchises and miniseries for Starter and Early Professional audiences. Conduct expert interviews, fact‑check third‑party resources, and secure necessary approvals from internal stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Compliance). Leverage social listening insights, performance data, and consumer research to inform content topics and strategy. Support the team on various projects and campaigns, communicating timelines, status, and results effectively. Required Qualifications 2+ years of professional or academic experience in editorial, social media, journalism, or digital content creation. Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail, accuracy, and tone. Demonstrated passion for financial topics, personal finance, or helping people make better money decisions. Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X) and content management/scheduling tools (e.g., Sprinklr). Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Collaborative, proactive, and eager to pitch fresh ideas and solve problems. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with visual storytelling, including photography, infographics, and video. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field. Experience with Microsoft Office; graphic design or public relations experience.
