Grant Writer Wanted ASAP for Transitional Housing Grant Application.

Our nonprofit is seeking an experienced grant writer to support the development, writing, and submission of competitive grant proposals. The ideal candidate has a strong track record with HUD CoC, SAMHSA, DOJ, California state grants, and foundation funding related to homelessness, housing, behavioral health, or reentry services. Responsibilities Research federal, state, county, and foundation grant opportunities aligned with Voyage House’s mission. Write compelling, trauma‑informed, evidence‑based grant narratives. Prepare full application packages including budgets, attachments, logic models, and required forms. Coordinate with leadership to gather organizational data, policies, and supporting documents. Ensure all submissions meet funder requirements, deadlines, and formatting guidelines. Assist with Letters of Intent (LOIs), grant calendars, and reporting requirements. Qualifications Proven experience writing successful grants for nonprofits (required).
