About UPSCO
UPSCO is a leading manufacturer, fabricator, and distributor of natural gas utility infrastructure products and a proud division of Core & Main. Founded in 1965, UPSCO pioneered the prefabricated gas meter set and has built a reputation as a trusted partner to utility companies across the United States.
Rather than manufacturing gas meters themselves, UPSCO works in close collaboration with utility engineering teams who define and own the engineering specifications. UPSCO's industrial engineering team reviews those specifications to determine feasibility and, when possible, identifies the most efficient method to fabricate meter set assemblies that meet the utility's requirements.
In addition to fabricated meter sets, UPSCO supplies pipe, valves, and fittings that support safe, compliant, and reliable natural gas distribution systems. As part of Core & Main, UPSCO combines the stability and scale of a national infrastructure leader with the specialized focus of a dedicated natural gas business.
