ServiceMaster of Salem, a leading provider of fire, water, and mold damage restoration services, is seeking a motivated Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. As a locally owned company, we are dedicated to helping our community restore their properties and lives with exceptional service and expertise.
This is an in‑person position at our Salem office, Monday‑Friday 8AM‑4:30PM.
What You’ll Be Doing – Job Responsibilities
Strategic Campaign Leadership: Design, lead, and oversee comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (social media, email, SEM, display ads), ensuring alignment with broader business goals and brand strategy.
Content Strategy & Development: Create and implement a robust content calendar, producing high‑quality, engaging, and SEO‑optimized content for the website, blog, social media, and email marketing that resonates with our target audience.
SEO/SEM Strategy & Optimization: Develop and execute advanced SEO strategies and manage PPC campaigns with a focus on maximizing ROI, increasing organic traffic, and driving high‑quality lead generation.
Social Media Growth & Engagement: Lead social media strategy to build brand awareness, foster community engagement, and monitor evolving social trends to keep the company at the forefront of digital conversations.
Lead Tracking and Analytics: Implement and maintain lead tracking systems to monitor lead sources, customer journeys, and conversion paths; analyze this data to optimize marketing efforts and improve ROI.
Data‑Driven Analytics & Insights: Utilize Google Analytics and other tools to conduct in‑depth campaign performance analysis, generate actionable insights, and present regular reports to leadership with clear recommendations for optimization.
Lead Generation & Conversion Optimization: Develop and refine digital funnels and landing pages to increase lead quality and conversion rates, collaborating closely with sales to ensure seamless lead nurturing.
Brand Stewardship: Maintain and enforce brand consistency across all digital platforms, ensuring messaging aligns with company values and market positioning.
Community & Partnership Engagement: Actively participate in local community initiatives and partnerships, leveraging relationships to enhance brand reputation and digital content opportunities.
Cross‑Department Collaboration & Vendor Management: Serve as a key liaison between marketing, sales, leadership, and external agencies or vendors to synchronize marketing efforts and maximize resource efficiency.
Innovation & Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of emerging digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices; pilot new technologies and approaches to keep the company competitive and innovative.
Project Management: Lead multiple projects from conception to execution, managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication to ensure timely delivery and measurable outcomes.

What We’re Looking For – Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Proven experience (2‑3 years) in digital marketing, preferably within the restoration or a related industry
Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, content marketing, and email marketing
Proficient in using digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media management tools, and email marketing software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Creative thinking and problem‑solving abilities
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision‑making
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Experience with graphic design and video editing tools is a plus
