Job Description:
We are seeking a Technical Writer to join a small, high-performing Business Process Improvement team. This individual will play a key role in enhancing documentation standards, strengthening operational consistency, and supporting company-wide efficiency initiatives. The ideal candidate is process-minded, highly organized, and comfortable collaborating across departments to refine and standardize procedures.
This is a 6-month contract opportunity with a hybrid schedule (4 days onsite, 1 remote).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, revise, and standardize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across departments
Ensure documentation accuracy, clarity, and alignment with company standards
Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for workflow optimization
Support change management efforts by documenting and communicating updated processes
Maintain and organize documentation within SharePoint
Assist in integrating AI tools to improve SOP development and management
Identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to streamline operations
Promote documentation consistency and continuous process improvement
Qualifications:
Prior experience in technical writing & process improvement specific to AI
Strong understanding of SOP development and document control practices
Experience working within SharePoint or similar document management systems
Familiarity with change management principles
Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently while collaborating within a small team environment
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 remote
